Google Elevate aimed to bring together 500 Google Cloud Salespeople who sell products and services to companies within the public sector in early February 2025 in San Diego, California. The creative approach was designed with a core Google aesthetic in mind, built to be modular and flexible with a touch of SoCal neutrals, materiality and quirkiness. A full three day event to energize and inspire the teams with keynotes, breakouts, evening events and plenty of other activities for guests downtime.

The keynote stage was the centerpiece of my design with the focus on warm neutrals, wood textures and energetic pops of Google brand colors. The structure created a solid base with shapes taken from the visual identity used to add personality, break the grid and soften hard lines. Curved corners leaned into the SoCal architecture and led lighting hidden behind shapes allowed for state changes throughout the event.

These key principles were applied to the rest of the spaces to create a energetic and light hearted feeling event; the entrance area San Diego themed photo moment where guests could borrow a bike for their downtime, sunny lunch spots with bold table vinyl, conversation starters and quirky propping, a customization station where guests could design their own jacket with patches and embroidery and modular breakout spaces with a nod to the keynote stage design that could evolve between sessions.
